Heavy rains cause landslides that kill two people in southeastern Switzerland

    The consecutive floods in the province from June 9 to 11 (as of 10:00 a.m. on June 11) have killed 3 people (2 in Hoang Su Phi, 1 in Quan Ba), affected over 1,400 houses (3 houses completely collapsed), damaged over 278 hectares of rice and vegetables, 28.7 hectares of fish ponds overflowed, thousands of livestock and poultry were swept away, 281 motorbikes and 91 cars were flooded, tens of thousands of cubic meters of soil and rocks were eroded on roads from National Highways, Provincial Roads, inter-village and inter-commune roads. The total damage caused by natural disasters is estimated at 61 billion VND.
