    The Summary for Policymakers of the Special Report on Managing the Risks of Extreme Events and Disasters to Advance Climate Change Adaptation (SREX) was approved in Kampala, Uganda on 18 November by member governments of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).

The ISDR Asia Partnership (IAP), is an informal multi-stakeholder forum with the role to facilitate implementation of Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and the Hyogo Framework for Action (HFA) in the Asia region.
