More than 200 officers and soldiers of the Provincial Military Command; Police of Thua Thien Hue province; 24 Border Intermediate School; 414th Engineering Brigade, Information Brigade 80 - Military Region 4; Transportation facilities; Phong Dien district militia force completed the dam at 8 am this morning.

The dam is 3.5 m high, 5 m wide, 15 m long, covered with soil and gabions and canvas located upstream right at the landslide location of Rao Trang 3 hydropower plant. Searching the army, police and dogs of Border Guard Intermediate School began to search the area of the Rao Trang River, where it was suspected that the bodies of 12 hydropower workers Rao Trang 3 were buried. The forces are still actively searching for the remaining missing victims.



After redirecting the flow, forces began to search the area where there were suspected victims of disappearance in the riverbed at Rao Trang..


Lieutenant Colonel Phan Thang, Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of the Military Command of Thua Thien Hue province said: "All forces have organized search in the riverbed. Regarding the search method, you will make use of it. mainly means of scoopers, excavators and excavators in coordination with the sniffing dogs of the 24-border intermediate school, organizing searches from upstream to downstream according to the method of deep search, searching carefully under the earth The Rao Trang River discovered some belongings of workers such as clothes, mats, and motorcycles ".


Mr. Phan Ngoc Tho, Chairman of Thua Thien Hue Provincial People's Committee (2nd left) was present at the scene looking for the missing victim at Rao Trang 3 hydropower plant.


Previously, a terrible landslide in the Rao Trang 3 hydropower project on the morning of October 12 made 17 workers buried here, so far the competent forces have found 5 bodies, 12 missing victims has not been found ./.
