Chairman of the People's Committee of Bao Thang commune (Ky Son district, Nghe An) Moong Van Loi said that around 9:00 a.m. on October 1, amid the sunny weather, a flood suddenly appeared in Cha Ka 1 village (Bao commune). Win).
The incident lasted about 7 minutes, washing away thousands of cubic meters of rock and mud into streams and roads, causing traffic jams. Fortunately, the flood did not affect people's lives and property.
“While I was going into the mountain to find a water source for the people, I heard a rumbling sound from the mountain. Knowing that there was a flood, I ran and shouted for people to stay away to ensure safety," said Mr. Moong Van Tu, a resident of Cha Ka 1 village.

Many roads in Ky Son district collapsed, causing division.

Flooding caused the main road leading to Bao Thang commune (Ky Son) to seriously erode

In Ky Son district, heavy rain in the past few days has caused many inter-commune and inter-district roads to be seriously divided. Currently, the route to the commune center is being eroded in many places, leaving hundreds of households isolated.
“The entire commune has 480 households and nearly 3,000 people who are currently isolated. People who want to buy necessities have to ride motorbikes around dozens of kilometers to Tuong Duong district.
The district People's Committee mobilized 2 excavators to level the road and soon open it to the commune," said Chairman of Bao Thang Commune People's Committee Moong Van Loi.
