Heavy rain continues,handle landslides and flooding in many places

The low pressure trough with an axis at about 9-11 degrees North latitude tends to become more active and raise the axis to the North. On the subtropical high pressure encroaching to the west, turbulence in the east wind zone continues.

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting forecasts that, due to the influence of the low pressure trough combined with the disturbances in the above-mentioned East wind zone, from now, October 5 to October 6, Thanh Hoa until October 6. Binh Dinh has moderate rain, heavy rain, very heavy rain and thunderstorms with a common rainfall of 100-200mm/time, in some places over 250mm/time.

The Northern Delta and coastal areas have showers and thunderstorms, with moderate to heavy rain locally with a rainfall of 30-60mm/24h, some places over 80mm/24h.

During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong winds. Risk of flash floods, landslides in mountainous areas and local flooding in low-lying, low-lying areas and riverside.

There are showers and thunderstorms in Hanoi today and tomorrow, with moderate rain and heavy rain locally.

Also according to the National Center for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting, due to the influence of the low pressure trough analyzed above, today and tonight, the South Central Coast, the Central Highlands and the South will continue to have showers and thunderstorms. from very large to very large with a rainfall of 40-70mm/24h, in some places over 100mm/24h. Rain is concentrated in the afternoon and at night.

During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong winds. Risk of flash floods, landslides in mountainous areas and local flooding in low-lying, low-lying areas and riverside.
