Heavy rains and tornadoes in Binh Duong injured 3 people, hundreds of houses had their roofs blown off

11:36:31, 10/05/2021 The heavy rain and tornado yesterday afternoon caused heavy damage to the houses and crops of the people in Thu Dau Mot city, Tan Uyen town and Dau Tieng district.
This morning (May 7), Binh Duong's Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue said that the heavy rain and tornado yesterday afternoon caused heavy damage to people's homes and crops. in Thu Dau Mot city, Tan Uyen town and Dau Tieng district. 


People's houses collapsed after a heavy rain and tornado on the afternoon of May 6. 

Heavy rain, tornado caused 3 injured people, collapsed 3 house, blew away 249 house's roof top, crack down 45 Ha of rubber tree cao su, hoa màu; shorted electric wire to burn 2 electric poles, broken 1 light pole; broken down some trees, affecting traffic. Minh Tan and Dinh An communes of Dau Tieng district were the most affected. 


Local officials are checking the houses's situation 

The Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue in districts, towns and cities has been mobilized militia forces to assist the injured people to go to the emergency room; relocate the household with the collapsed house, remove the roof to a safe place; clean up the scene, overcome power outages caused by fire of electric poles, fallen trees.
