Heavy rains in Phu Tho caused landslides, killing 2 people and injuring 7 people

Heavy rain on the night of September 26, the morning of September 27, in Phu Tho caused landslides, causing 2 deaths, 7 injuries, a lot of crops flooded, and traffic split.
According to the quick report of Ha Hoa district (Phu Tho province), as of 9 am on September 27, heavy rains caused 2 deaths due to landslides.

Two victims were identified as Ms. Dinh Thi H, residing in zone 2, Am Ha commune and Dinh Hoang Y, living in zone 7, Am Ha commune, Ha Hoa district (Phu Tho province).

In addition, also in Ha Hoa, there were seven injured people in the communes: Am Ha, Yen Ky, Vinh Chan, Gia Dien; Many crops, ponds and lakes were flooded, 14 houses were damaged, many roads were eroded, divided, traffic jams, many villages and communes were isolated.



Police forces support the relocation of people to safe places.

After recording the initial damage, local leaders visited the family of the deceased, and coordinated with the authorities to bring the injured person to the emergency. Currently, the health of the 7 injured people is stable.

In addition to Ha Hoa district, in the province, many localities in Cam Khe, Yen Lap and Tam Nong districts also suffered local inundation, causing great damage to people's property.

Currently, the authorities of Phu Tho province are continuing to do statistics on the damage. At the same time, to direct the search and rescue team and the local authorities to relocate the people to a safe place, focusing on overcoming the damage caused by the floods.
