High risk of flash floods, landslides and inundation in the northern mountainous region

According to the National Center for Meteorological and Hydrological Forecasting, due to the intensified cold air, on April 29, the Northern mountainous region experienced heavy rain, some places with very heavy rain and thunderstorms with popular rainfall 50-100. mm / 24 hours; particularly in the provinces of Lai Chau, Dien Bien, Lao Cai, Yen Bai and Ha Giang, there are places over 120 mm / 24 hours.

The Northern Delta region rains, in some places with moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, whirlwinds, lightning, hail and strong winds can occur in thunderstorms. High risk of flash floods, landslides and local inundation in mountainous provinces.

Provinces from Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien-Hue are cloudy, with rain and thunderstorms in some places, only the North (from Thanh Hoa to Quang Binh) has moderate rain, heavy rain, some places with very heavy rain and thunderstorms; During a thunderstorm, there is a possibility of whirlwinds, lightning, hail and strong winds. North to Northwest wind is level 2-3. The lowest temperature is from 22-25 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature is 23-26 degrees C in the North, 27-30 degrees C in the South.

East to Northeast winds are level 2-3. Lowest temperature from 24 to 27 degrees C. The highest temperature from 31-34 degrees C.

The Central Highlands is cloudy, sunny day, evening, and at night there are rain and thunderstorms in some places; During a thunderstorm, there is a possibility of whirlwinds, lightning and strong winds, sunny days. The lowest temperature is from 20-23 degrees C. The highest temperature is from 31-34 degrees C, some places are over 34 degrees C.

The South is cloudy, with showers and thunderstorms in some places, especially in the West there are rain and thunderstorms, in a thunderstorm there are likely to happen whirlwinds, lightning and strong winds, sunny days, some places with hot sun. Lowest temperature from 24-27 degrees C. The highest temperature from 32-35 degrees C, some places over 35 degrees C. /.
