Nghe An appeared long cracks on Ray mountain, emergency relocation of 39 households

As soon as detecting a stretching crack in the mountain, 39 households below were urgently relocated to ensure safety.
Due to the influence of typhoon No. 9, accompanied by heavy rain, the Ray mountain area in Hung Yen Nam commune, Hung Nguyen district, Nghe An has many big cracks, with a total length of more than 60m. Cracks run along the mountainside, causing a very high risk of landslides. Especially, at the foot of the mountain is the living area of hundreds of households in hamlets 3, 4, 5, Hung Yen Nam commune.


Long, big cracks appeared on Ray mountain's surface


In order to ensure safety for people, Hung Nguyen district issued an emergency evacuation order for 39 households, 137 people of 3 hamlets to a safe place.
Hung Nguyen district also mobilized forces including the army, the police, the militia and self-defense ... to help people evacuate and transport property to safety before the evening of October 29.



Hundreds of household are living at the foot of Ray's mountain

Layout options for schematic attributes are distributed to government and social arrangements can be in neighborhood culture homes or school districts. In the short term, many people come to relatives' homes in the panoramic area to live, wait after the rain will return home.
