Nghe An: Thousands of houses are still flooded after 3 days of heavy rain

Due to the influence of the circulation of styphoon No. 6, in the past 3 days, in Quynh Luu district (Nghe An) there has been heavy rain on a large scale, causing local flooding in many communes such as Quynh Lam, Quynh Hong, town. Cau Giat... On September 27, after the water receded, local authorities are focusing on overcoming the consequences of rain and floods, soon stabilizing people's lives. .


People's lives have been turned upside down due to floods and floods 

According to statistics of Quynh Luu District People's Committee, heavy rain caused nearly 3,000 households in communes: Quynh Lam, Quynh Hong, Quynh Nghia, Quynh Giang, Cau Giat town... to be flooded. Nearly 5,000 poultry and livestock were swept away; more than 60 hectares of seasonal rice and 1,000 hectares of vegetables were flooded and damaged; nearly 3,000 hectares of aquaculture were flooded… 

Quynh Hong commune is the deepest flooded area of Quynh Luu district, although the water has receded, hundreds of households are still unable to live at home due to deep flooding.
