For mountainous areas, it is necessary to strengthen prevention of pipe floods, flash floods, landslides affecting the power grid and properties, especially the posts on duty and the operator's house.

EVNNPC also directs that power companies have a plan to ensure power supply to drainage pumping stations when flooding occurs and important loads. At the same time, thoroughly understand to all employees seriously, fully implement safety measures when working in rainy and flood conditions, coordinate with local authorities and agencies to propagate to people about electrical safety in rainy and stormy seasons.

With hydropower, EVNNPC requires hydropower companies to check the amount of water on dams, reservoirs, canals, pipes... to ensure safety in the plant's operation management; actively monitor, capture information and warn about rain and floods to ensure the safety of the reservoir as well as the safety of downstream areas…

In rainy and stormy days, subordinate units need to check and ensure the safety of people, works and materials and equipment on the construction site, do not let machinery and equipment be flooded. due to rain and flood, especially to ensure good communication and transmission to meet communication needs in the process of responding to and overcoming consequences of natural disasters.../.
