According to the National Center for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting, from 1-4am continuously this morning, in Lai Chau and Bac Giang provinces, there was rain and moderate rain.


The central provinces and the Central Highlands have heavy rain from March 30 to April 2, with the risk of local flooding in many places.

Specifically, the rainfall measured in Muong Te (Lai Chau) is 51.8 mm; in Son Dong (Bac Giang) with 16.2 mm of rain...Forecast in the next 3 hours, in the area of ​​Lai Chau, Dien Bien, Son La, Lao Cai, Bac Giang, Lang Son, Quang Ninh provinces will have rain, moderate rain, heavy rain, cumulative rainfall is common from 10 to 30 mm, in some places over 50 mm.

In this day, the provinces of Lai Chau, Dien Bien, Son La, Lao Cai, Bac Giang, Lang Son and Quang Ninh need to watch out for the possibility of landslides, flash floods and local flooding.

According to the National Center for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting, due to the influence of a low-pressure trough with an axis at about 10.0 - 12.0 degrees north latitude, it connects to a low pressure area located at 1 a.m. this morning at about 10 a.m. ,5 - 11.5 degrees north latitude and 112.5 - 113.5 degrees east longitude.

In the day and night of March 30, the sea from Binh Dinh to Ca Mau; The area between and south of the East Sea (including Truong Sa archipelago) has showers and thunderstorms. During thunderstorms there is a possibility of tornadoes and strong gusts of wind.

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting also warned, due to the influence of the low pressure trough on the circulation of the low pressure area analyzed above, then combined with strong cold air. From today, March 30 to April 2, the Central and Central Highlands regions will have moderate rain, heavy rain, and very heavy rain in some places.

During thunderstorms, local people need to watch out for the possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong winds; risk of flash floods, landslides in mountainous areas and local flooding in low-lying, low-lying areas and riverside.
