Warning level 2 of high tides in Ho Chi Minh City

10:31:2, 15/02/2023 The Southern Regional Hydrometeorological Station predicts that in February this year, the Ho Chi Minh City area will have two high tides appearing in the middle of the month and at the end of the month. The highest water level of the month will appear in the last week of the month at approximately the level of Alert II.

On February 2, the Southern Regional Hydrometeorological Station had information to assess the hydrological situation in Ho Chi Minh City in February 2023.
Accordingly, in January, the highest tide level in the canal system of Ho Chi Minh City at Phu An and Nha Be stations appeared in the last week of the month, 14cm higher than Alarm III and higher than the same period last year. about 10cm in 2022.
The lowest water level occurred in the last week of January and was about 5cm lower than the same period last year.


It is forecasted that in February this year, Ho Chi Minh City will have two high tides appearing in the middle of the month and at the end of the month.

The Southern Region Hydrometeorological Station predicts that in February, there will be two high tides appearing in the middle of the month and at the end of the month.
In particular, the tidal peak in the first wave of February will be higher than the full moon in January (lunar calendar). The highest water level of the month will appear in the last week of the month at an approximate level of Alarm II or 5cm lower than Alarm II, 11-16cm lower than the same period last year.
The lowest water level in February occurs in the middle of the month at approximately the same level as in the same period in 2022.
